Christos P. Papasideris was born in Athens. He is a graduate of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He received his PhD from the Democritus University of Thrace and he is a holder of a Master's degree on "Vascular: endovascular techniques". He was trained in Vas- cular Surgery at the Heinrich-Heinle University in Duesseldorf, Germany. He is fluent in English and Italian and a fair level of competence in French and German.

He is a research associate in the Vascular Surgery, University of Athens in "ATTIKON" Hospital while co- operating with many private hospitals. He teaches "Vascular Surgery" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens; he has participated as a public speaker at conferences and seminars and has presented several papers in international conferences and publications in international journals. Also, as an expert on medical computing applications, he has organised an electronic Vascular database at the Vascular Surgery Clinic at "ATTIKON" Hospital.
Other activities
He is a member of the Board of the Hellenic Professional Association of Vascular Surgeons Member of the Hellenic Angeological Society Member of the Greek Society of Vascular Surgery He is also the Secretary General of EOPYY Practitioners ́ Union (EMI-EOPYY).
