The doctor Philippos Palamidas was born in Athens in 1951. He completed his secondary education in 1969 and then - after examinations- attended in the medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He graduated in 1977 and specialized in Pulmonology - Tuberculosis at Sismanogleio General Hospital until 1983.
Then he specialized in interventional pulmonology in, Hopital Foch, Paris and in Hopital St Margarit, in Marseilles under the direction of Dr. Personne and Dr. Dumon respectively.
Dr. Palamidas attended organizational and informational science programs in interventional pulmonology in famous European centers of reference and the USA.
He is a member of the following scientific associations ERS, ATS, LTD. He was a founding member of the Greek Cooperative Oncology Group.
He was a speaker at seminars and round tables, Greek and inter- national, in matters of interventional pulmonology and lung cancer, as a member of the Greek Respiratory Society, the Greek Company LASER in Medicine of the respective European Companies (ERS, and ELA) and the American ACCP.
Contributed to programs of theoretical and practical training of doctors in training, students of NATIONAL SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AD- MINISTRATION (National School) of the occupational health depart- ment from 1998 to 2001, and the Institute of Applied Technology and Center issues "Applications of Laser in Medicine" 1990 until 1996. He worked as a specialist pulmonologist since 1983 for one year in lung function laboratory of LAIKON HOSPITAL in Athens and then in “SISMANOGLEIO” Hospital until 2003 as Curator in charge of LASER laboratory and bronchoscopy.
Since 2003 he manages the Department of Interventional Pulmonology in Athens Medical Center in Maroussi.

The doctor Anastassios Palamidas was born in 1978 and studied medicine at Patras, where he graduated in 2004.
Since then he completed his doctoral dissertation in Physiology of Respiration on “Chronic Kidney Disease and the mechanics of Breath”, which he successfully completed in 2013 at the Labora- tory of spirometry in the first University Pulmonary Clinic of the University of Athens, which is headed by Professor Koulouris.
In 2008 he started his specialty of Pulmonary-Tuberculosis in the University Pulmonary Clinic of the University of Athens, which he completed in 2013.
In 2013 he was awarded a scholarship from the Greek Thoracic Society on “Lung Cancer”.
Since 2013 he has been a clinical and a research associate of the first University Pulmonary Clinic of the University of Athens and specializes in Oncology Lung and interventional techniques.
He is a member of the Greek Respiratory Society, the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the British Thoracic Society (BTS), the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the World Society of Inter- ventional Pulmonology (WABIP). He has co-authored five scientific articles published in international journals and many articles have been published in Greek magazines.
