Dr. Loukas Konstantinou, after his studies at the Medical School of the University in Goettingen, Germany, got specialized in Orthopedic Surgery Traumatology and Emergency Medicine in Germany and worked as a Curator in Hamburg.
He specialized further in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Germany (GfFC, DAF), directing the Foot section in Ahrensburg Clinic for many years. He is qualified as a Doctor of Medicine in the University of Goettingen, Germany, and permanent Scientific Associate there. Since 1994 he is an active member of research teams regarding osteoarthritis, in collaboration with the Institute of Anatomy of the University Clinic in Goettingen, Germany.
Since 2010 he lives and works in Greece, while remaining as a permanent partner of the University Clinic of Goettingen in Germany.
He is founder of the group of medical services regarding the Trauma in Mykonos island. This group is called MYKONOS TRAUMA CARE, while maintaining a permanent practice of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology there.
From 2014 he has been defined as a permanent Scientific Associate of Athens Medical School, along with his clinical activity on the island of Mykonos.
Involved for over 15 years at the German Congress of Orthopedic Surgeons, remaining a member of both the German and the Greek Orthopedic Society.
