Konstantinos S. Halkias, Physician Specialist Internist, born in 1968 in Athens.
In 1988 he was introduced in the Department of Medicine of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated in 1994.
Subsequently, he served his military service trainee for one year (1995-1996) in the Specialty of Medicine as Petty Officer Physician - Internal Assistant in the Naval Hospital of Athens.
As part of his specialization, he completed his exercise for 4, 5 additional years in Therapeutic Clinic of the University of Athens, Athens General Hospital "Alexandra" and received, in 2003, the pathologist specialty title, after successful written and oral examinations.
From 2003 to 2008, he was Scientific Director and Principal of the Med- ical Department of the “ATHENIAN CLINIC” and chairman of the Infectious Diseases Commitee of the “ATHENIAN CLINIC”.
Between 2003 and now, he works in Private sector as a freelancer in his practice (I. Paga 22 Ampelokipoi). Has established and maintains contracts with many public funds and he is a member of the doctors network health system MEDISYSTEM of INTERAMERICAN.
Between 2008 and today serves as Director of Pathology Clinic in EUROKLINIKI of ATHENS.
As part of continuing medical education and training, he has participated in major Greek and international conferences, and various post- graduate courses.
In addition, he has participated as an invited speaker at many medical conferences and seminars, while many articles of his have been hosted on medical issues, in various magazines and newspapers.
He is a member of the Greek Pathology Society, the Greek Diabetes Association, the Greek Medical Society of Obesity, the Evritanian Scientists Company and Observators Morbidity Network in the Primary Health Care of the Infectious Disease Department of Health and Social Solidarity center.
Primary care: medical visits, counselling and monitoring patients for primary prevention issues, family medicine, vacci- nations, feverish conditions / infections, hypertension, diabetes, disorders of lipid / cholesterol, chronic fatigue.
Secondary Care: Provision of diagnostic and curative health services in the field of Pathology in large private hospital in Athens, with all the opportunities offered by the development of modern medical technology.
