Dionysios Chissas was born on February 20, 1971 in Ioannina. He is a specialized Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Arthroscopic shoulder of surgery, knee, the total hip, and traumatology.
Dr. Dionysios P. Chissas is a graduate of Athens University Medical School, where he received the specialty of Orthopaedics. He post graduated in the object of sports injuries in St.Josef Hospital of Essen, Germany and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals of England.
He is a Doctor of Orthopaedics at the Democritus University. He is the head of the Athletics Federation of Sports Medicine Center located in Agios Kosmas and specifically the National Track Groups.
He is certified in the USA (Robotic Joint Replacement Center of Physicians Region of Medical Center, Naples, Florida, USA) in Robotic Surgery of knee and hip. Together with Mr. Konstantinos Dretakis, are pioneers of the advent of Robotics Orthopaedics in Greece, having performed more than 200 robotic surgeries to date. They are international trainers in Ro- botic Surgery.
